Our history

The Casino Direct Marketing Association was formed by a group of casino direct marketing and industry executives encompassing a wide-range of vendors and services with a variety of experience and knowledge spanning different aspects of the industry. The idea for the association was first conceptualized during a series of focus groups in August 2005 when it was realized that the industry could benefit from having its own association. “There was a lot of benchmarking that needed to be done and had for some time. Once we started talking about it, the need was obvious,” said Luigi Mastropietro, Vice President of Relationship Marketing at GCA, one of the visionaries behind the Casino DMA. “By sharing our information, we have a better understanding of industry trends and a clearer sense of which direction to take next.”
