Michael F. Capen has been a member of GLI’s Client Service Team, based in GLI’s Las Vegas office, since 2005. His primary responsibility, as Director Client Services, is directing the Client Services Team that works with all tribal regulatory agencies, state gaming regulatory agencies, lotteries and all casinos in the U.S and Canada. Mr. Capen brings a diverse background to his position after being a Naval Officer for 21 years, and then, a charitable gaming regulator working for the Virginia Department of Charitable Gaming from 1999 to 2005. While working of the Virginia Department of Charitable Gaming, he rose through the ranks quickly – from inspector to licensing, inspection and training administrator.
